Derek and I decided last night to watch (for the first time) a reality show abot UFC fights. We have never even watched a UFC fight together and thought ....Hey this might be interesting. We started watching and sure enough it was a bit interesting because the guys fight with so many different methods that it was fun to watch. The only problem with the show is that it was on our channel 26 which is Spike TV. I guess Spike TV is pretty bad, but last night was the first time EVER that this happened. During a commercial the actor in the commercial said the "F word" on TV!!!!! Derek and I both looked at each other and Derek said "That's not allowed. They can't say that on TV." I turned to him and said "Well they just did!"
We couldn't believe that not only do we hear these terrible words in public all the time, but now they are slowly but surely slipping into our everyday entertainment! I tell you more and more I feel like our modern day PG-13 would have been a R rating in the 70's or 80's. And that just annoys me!
It seems like we have to be more and more careful about what we watch and listen to! One thing is for sure. I don't think we will be watching Spike TV anymore!

It's insane what it now included in a PG-13 movie!!!!!!!!
It is so sad! I just heard that the movie " Pretty Woman" use to be rated R but they recently changed it to PG-13. THAT MAKES ME SICK! AND WHOSE PARENTS LET THEM WATCH DIRTY DANCING WHEN THEY ARE 3 years old??? haha
