ASU game...

Last Saturday night Derek picked me up from work and we were off to the ASU vs USC football game! It was such a fun evening. It was very hard for us to choose which team to root for. Derek's Dad graduated for USC and we are from Southern California so we have always rooted for USC, but Derek now attends ASU so it was hard to choose. In the end we just wanted o watch a good game and that is exactly what we saw. If you read the newspaper after the game you might think it was a blow out by ASU. But it wasn't. ASU was ahead in the first half. In the third quarter USC came back and was ahead for a little. Then in the 4th quarter USC made errors and ASU scored off them making the final score 43 to 28 or something like that. But trust me when I say it was a great game!

Derek and I loved our seats too. We were right below the USC band in the USC section and there was so much tension from the fans the whole game! It was great!

The other thing that was crazy. During the first or second quarter we got hit by one of those freak Arizona storms. Out of no where it started getting super, super windy. The field was full of napkins, beach balls, and plastic bags. USC had the ball and all they could do was try to run the ball, because there was no way they were going to be able to throw the ball in that wind. Then it started raining. Not bad, but just enough to make me have to protect my camera! It was insane how windy it was! It seemed like every timeout the sideline crew had to go clean up the field of all of the trash!

I officially love College football! It was so fun to go and be part of it! I guess after watching my brother play for 4 yrs then cheerleading for 3 yrs I have grown to love football, watching it live that is. On TV I just don't get into it that much but in person is a whole other thing!
