Derek's new obsession....Golfing. Which I am ok with because it is only $8.00 right now for 18 holes because the boys are golfing in 108 degree weather. I have never before gone with them and decided since i had a day off to go and photograph them while golfing! It was fun, but extremely hot. I can't imagine myself even trying to learn! It looks so hard. But all Derek can do right now is think about the next time he can go golfing! These pictures were taken at Ken McDonald Golf Course in Tempe, Az. I just loved the golf ball fence! This house was right on the course and I thought if I lived on a course and got golf balls hit at my house all the time I would want to do something creative like this too! The guys golfing with Derek are Jex (in blue) and Eric (in red). Jex and Eric are also Spanish TAs at ASU with Derek. And yes they are all spanish speaking return missionaries!
