Twister time....

No not the game, but the movie. Tonight I got off work and started driving home. As I was driving I was the storm. There was a dust storm on its way. It just kept on following me all the way home. I made sure to take surface streets instead of the highway because I hear your visibility  can go from 100% to 0% in 2 seconds. So I wanted to be close to parking lots so I could just pull in and wait out the storm if it got bad.

I was scared the whole way home, but about 10 minutes before I got home I got excited......Yes like the movie Twister. I wanted to go to a high mountain top that was 10 minutes from my house and take pictures. So I got home, ran up the stairs, got my camera, and got in my car. It seemed like forever to get to the mountain top. I finally got there and was just at peace watching this storm. I sat there for about 40 minutes just waiting for the sky to turn pink with the sunset (that's my favorite!) I am so glad that I once again live in the desert and have these beautiful skies to cherish!
