Cleaning, packing, and digital cleaning...

This morning I got up at 8am. I have lots to do today before I head to California tonight to Photography a wedding this weekend!!!!!!

I got up and cleaned the apartment making sure to do everything you have to do before you leave a house....Trash, dishes, laundry, and just picking up.

I then packed which really wasn't to hard considering I will only be in California for 48 hrs.....

Then I realized that I haven't cleaned out my memory cards in a while. I have a system down where I take pictures, move them to my lap top but still keep them on the memory cards, edit them, then after a long time I move the pictures to my external storage & make a CD so I have two copies of each photo. I then am able to erase them from my laptop and from my memory cards. This system works very well except when I haven't done it in 3 or more months and every card is full. That seems to be a problem if I am going to photograph a wedding this weekend. So I just spent a hour and a half cleaning all of my digital stuff and I have to say it feels just as rewarding as cleaning your house to have all of my memory cards clean and my laptop cleaned up as well!

I know I will be in California for 48 hours but I tell you it is going to be the busiest 48hrs of my life....
I work tonight till 9pm then I hit the road....

9pm-4am Driving
4am-8am sleeping
8am-12pm Hanging out with my best friend Shay and meeting her baby boy Weston for the first time and he is 6 months old. (While there I will be cutting a little hair)
12pm-2pm Lunch with the family
2pm-till I crash hanging out with my family and cutting my brother's hair
Saturday Morning: Get all of my ducks in a row for the wedding
2pm Head down to Simi Valley for the wedding
4pm-midnight Photographing a wedding


Then Derek and I have to decide still if we want to leave straight to Arizona then or if we will go home and sleep for a little and then leave to Arizona very early because I work from 1:45pm to 6:30pm on Sunday!

I know I am crazy right.........I think I had to write this all down because I am a little stressed out about the whole weekend, but it doesn't seem to be that bad and I am just so excited about seeing Shay and about photographing the wedding and most of all I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE MY HUSBAND! All of the lack of sleep and tiredness is well worth all of the good times I will have this weekend!
