The Surprises

The first one is .... I got a new job that I am so excited about. I love doing hair but no hairstylist jobs have medical and Derek and I would like to start a family sometime soon, so I have been looking for a good job with medical and ......I got a job at COSTCO!!!!! I am so excited to work for such a great company! Obviously from the previous post I have loved going to Costco since I was a little kid!


The second surprise was we went to California for Derek's birthday weekend! We first went to Oceanside and spent Thursday through Sunday there. We went to the beach twice and hung out with Michaela and her kids. Michaela moved to Oceanside a couple of weeks ago, so it was neat to get to see her new place.

Some of the highlights of our beach experiences.....
-Wyatt is official going to be a Navy Seal someday. He kept jumping off the slide face first in the sand and then would roll and army crawl through the sand
-Morgan kept asking us to go to a restaurant called Ruby's for dinner. None of us knew where on was so we decided to take the kids to the pier and eat whatever was at the end of the pier. So we walk a quarter mile to the end and what do you know...RUBY'S!!!! It was so funny, Morgan ALWAYS gets her way.
-Jade got a haircut and is really good on her ripstick.
-Wyatt loved the trains that would go by all the time.

-Covering Morgan in the sand was super fun and she couldn't get up after because the sand was so wet!

Then on Sunday night we drove 3 hours to Lancaster and had dinner and played games with my family! I just love going to California!!! But I do have to say I am a little sick of trips! We found out we have been on 5 trips in 5 months! So I thing our trips are going to have to be put on hold for awhile, since I got a new job!
