Have you ever been into a Costco the week of Easter? Well I am now working at a Costco the week of Easter! It is crazy. We have people walking out with bills over $500.00! No joke! Yesterday was the first of my Easter week rush and we had multiple orders of people saying they were feeding 40 people or so! This makes me so much more appreciative of the way my family has always done holidays. We have always done it this way..... whoever's house it is at does the meat. Then all other families bring sides and drinks. The dessert is usually one family but it is thought out and planned ahead. That way each family is spending no more then $100.00 for a holiday meal! I do not think I would like the holidays very much if I was not only buying for 40 people, but thn cooking and cleaning for 40 people! It would be a nightmare!
This makes me want to pitch in whenever we go home now and to not make my parents pay for everything even though then insist!
It is funny because I am part time right now but this whole week so far I have been called in for 8 hour shifts! This is going to be a fun crazy holiday week!
