This last Wednesday night Derek and I decided to go to an ASU baseball game. We figured College baseball, we will get there right on time. Boy were we wrong. There were lines to get in!!!!! We waited with our friends Aubrey and Jex in line for about 10 minutes to get seats at the very top of the stadium! It was amazing to see the crowd and support for this ball team. One of my favorite things at the game was when an ASU pitcher had two strikes the crowd would start clapping slow and calm and gradually pick up the volume and pace until...BOOM....strike three and the crowd would go wild and the pitcher was full of so much excitement!!!! That is what college ball should be like EVERY WHERE!
You know Derek played college ball and was a great pitcher but let me tell you I have never seen my husband pitch for a team with the defense that this team had. Every time the batter would hit the ball to outfield I thought for sure "oh that one for sure is going to drop..." them what do you know one of the outfields would get under it!
It was a blast going to this game and experience college baseball at it's finest!!! Go ASU!
