Arizona Men's League

Right now Derek is playing baseball weekday nights on a wood bat men's league. When you think men's league you think of guys 25 to 50 playing for fun and just out there having fun right....well not here in Arizona. It seems to me that there are over millions of guys in the ages of 23 to 30 still trying to make it somewhere in the MLB. I mean these teams that Derek is playing are intense! Last night Derek was telling me that the pitchers are all as good as the best pitchers he faced in Virginia in his college league. It was just crazy also how mad these guys get when they can't hit Derek's 65mph knuckleball! Last night one guy just kept whiffing at the knuckleball. Finally he got a piece of one and broke his bat. The guy left the plate saying..."Seriously....seriously I just broke my bat on a KNUCKLEBALL! "  I love listening to all of the comments from the opposite dugout when Derek gets up to pitch! I love my knuckleballer!
