Yesterday we decided since I have dental insurance it would be wise for us to get me checked out so I won't have happen to me what Derek is going through. I was very afraid to go just because I haven't been in 3 years and I don't want to spend ANY MORE MONEY!!!!!
I had my examine and the dentist said great things. For not going in in three years I old have two new cavities. I was so excited to hear this and I just hope someday that our children gett my genes when it comes to teeth and not Derek's!
So then the dentist tells me ( of course after I thought I was in the clear) that my metal fillings that are probably about 10 years old have problems with them and one is actually cracking one of my molars.....
Yes so then comes the really good news. All of my metal filings (3 of them) have to come out and one has to be replaced with a crown (the one that is cracking my tooth) the other two can just be replaced.
To me a crown means....MONEY! And yep sure enough I got my "Dental Plan" and it is a total of $1200.00 and that is half off because my insurance covers that!!!!
Let me just tell you how yesterday went.... Dentist first thing in the morning, then crying...., more crying....., more crying......, and then 8 hours at work!
Once I got home from work I was so tired and had the worst headache!
I just hope that this is our third and last money trial for a little bit. I tell you my husband is a great guy. As I was sitting there crying to him all day, he didn't say much but what he did say was this..... "It is terrible that we have to spend this money, but we are lucky we have it in savings and that we both have jobs, and that we aren't going into debt to pay for this."
I love that he can see the positive when I am drowning in negative. And of course since my camera has broken I have had 3 co-workers ask me to take pictures for them! Isn't life great!

I'm sorry - it'll pass and you'll look back like it was just a teeny stumbling block. Frustrating but Derek's right. Good luck - no fun!
I'm sorry about your teeth and your camera. Derek is right at least you have the money. Hang in there. Call me anytime. Also, I know I have a different camera than you but, you are welcome to use mine until you get a new one or yours is fixed. Hope to see you Christmas!
