Temple day

Today was a great day off of work. I got up in the morning and made my way to the Mesa Temple to take a friends family pictures. I have to say they are some of my favorite pictures! It helps that it is of a beautiful family. After getting done with the photo session I had to run home, change into church clothes, and run back to the Temple.

A friend from work (Mallory) went through the temple for the first time and then after was sealed to her husband for time and all eternity. It was a great day in the Temple with them. I love going through the temple and seeing a sealing and remembering my special days.

I had an especially neat experience in the temple today though. The sister that sat next to me was blind. Towards the end of the session as we moved to the next room she turned to me and asked if she could walk with me so she didn't have to use her walking stick. I of course said yes. I have never lead a blind person around anywhere and it scared me to have that kind of responsibility. I got the chance to see what they say about having blind faith. Once on my arm she trusted me with everything. She never hesitated or stopped she just walked by my side trusting that i wouldn't run her into anything!

It was a great experience to me today in the temple! I love the Mesa Temple.
