Morgan's first MLB Game.

We have Morgan with us for a week and decided to do some fun things. The first thing was we took Morgan to her first Major League Baseball game. Even though we a Dodgers fans we took her to a Diamondbacks game here in Arizona. We got ready to go and took the lightrail to the game. The lightrail is like an above ground subway. Morgan was very excited to ride it and enjoyed it a lot. We got to the game and Morgan was so hot and thirsty but unfortunately we had to wait to get a drink because you can only take unopened bottles into the ball park. We got there at 5pm and went into the outfield to get homerun balls. Right as we were finding a place to stand Morgan yelled "Derek Ball" Derek turned and caught a homerun ball. It was funny because people were commenting about his one handed catch with a cast. It was funny. After batting practice we went to the top level of the park and there was a batting cage for the kids to hit. Morgan loved it so we were there for a good portion of the game letting her hit. We then went and met D. Baxter the mascot. During the 7th inning stretch all of the kids are invited to the top level to meet the Diamondbacks legends and to sing take me out to the ball game. Morgan got a flag from the organist and she sang and got on the jumbo tron! IT was very neat. She did a great job just sitting there during the game and watching also. I think overall it was a great time at the ballpark. I have to say the Diamondbacks have gone out of their way to make their field very family friendly! We loved it!
