Morgan's 9th Birthday Trip

We left Monday morning this past week and headed to Lancaster, Ca for Morgan's 9th Birthday. We really lucked out because everyone was in town to share this time with us. On Monday the first thing we did was go to Andrew and Brandy's Dewey Apartment and met up with Derek's family. We ate lunch then went shopping for Morgan's  presents. We headed to the new Chuck E Cheese (which is 3 times the size of the old one) and surprised Morgan for her birthday. We had a great time with our family at Chuck E Cheese. The gifts Morgan got this birthday were....zhu zhu pets, build a bear gift cards and a DS game.

Then on Tuesday we hung out with Derek's family for awhile and went to BJ's for lunch. After lunch we headed out to my parents house for a 3 yr Anniversary BBQ. That's right we have been married for 3 YEARS!!!! Crazy how fast that goes by! At the BBQ I mainly spent the whole time playing with our wonderful and might I add gorgeous nieces and handsome nephew! It was a great night.

On Wednesday we said good bye to Derek's family and he went down to his Dad's and I hung out with my parents.

On Thursday we stayed at my parents, watched the NBA finals game, packed our car and drove back to Az with Morgan! We get to keep her here with us till my parents come out for a wedding in a week!

It was so much fun going home and seeing everyone but at the same time it is always so busy and stressful trying to spend time with everyone!

I hope eventually we will move back closer to everyone so our time visiting doesn't have to be so overwhelming!
