Our Valentines

This year was hard for both Derek and I. We weren't sure what to get each other and we ran out of time. Derek went Valentines morning while I was at work to look for my gift. He came to my work to pick me up for lunch and drop off the car. In exchanging the car Derek told me how he looked for multiple things and couldn't find anything with in reason! I was ok with that because at least he tried. I went back to work finished my shift. After work I came home to get ready while Derek was at class and to my surprise I walked in to find a clean house, two balloons, and TWO dozen roses! I started crying because it was so sweet and so unexpected. Derek had told me that he was going to take me out for my gift on Wednesday, so I wasn't expecting anything and he did so much! After getting ready for the evening I was off to get Derek's gift. While in Vegas Derek got a pair of basketball shoes from my mom. Well we got home and Derek realized that the basketball shoes he got were really training shoes which are not good to play basketball in! So I took his training shoe returned them and payed the difference for some new Kobe Bryant basketball shoes! I picked up Derek from class and he drove the way to dinner. Derek took me out to Claim Jumpers and I got my favorite dessert, the mother load cake. I love that cake, but man it is rich!   And of course I had to make Derek's favorite cheesecake! All and all it was an amazing Valentines Day!
