Future Missionaries
This morning Derek and I both got to participate in the Primary activity for our ward. Last week the Primary sent out mission calls to all of the kids in the ward. They reported to the MTC (our church building) this morning to report in to the mission field where they all received their name badge and took a picture in front of the World map (that was my job. I took the pictures.) Then they went to their MTC classes (this is where Derek comes in). There was a relationship building class, and mission rules type class, and a language class. Derek taught the language class with two other brothers from our ward and I took pictures the whole time. Then the kids got on the plan to their mission and watched a video from the captain (our Bishop). The kids then went into the cutural hall and had to teach someone about the gospel and once they did they were given a secret message which was..." Missions bring sweet treasurers" and the kids got to choose from a table of baked goods! It was so much fun! And what a neat experience for the kids as they walked around in their companionships on their "missions"!

These kids are adorable! What a fun activity, I remember doing something similar when I was in primary. :)
How funny that some of the parents thought that their kids were actually being shipped off to other countries!
Looks like a really fun activity, though! Great picture taking, lady!
