Valentines Day 2012

This year was a simple, but good Valentines Day. I worked from 4:45 to 8:45. Derek picked me up from work and we had a good Dinner at Oliver Garden. Our gifts this year were pretty fun. I tried to get Derek "things he really needs". Right now in his life school is super stressful and overwhelming (thank goodness it is his last semester). I also knew that everything has been falling out of his wallet. While at the outlets last weekend I bought him a wallet from Fossil and went to one of his favorite places to golf and got him a gift card to go golfing, which I feel he really needs right now!  Derek got my two wonderful gifts. I am not a pillow sleeper. I hate pillows. Since I was 16 yrs old I have been sleeping with stuffed animals as my pillow, so you can imagine my excitement when they came out with pillow pets!!!! Yes, I am a 27yr old woman who loves pillow pets! Well I have Dodger pillow pets, but those are white so I don't often sleep with them. Derek was sweet and bought me a new ASU Sparky (the sundevil) pillow pet! I LOVE IT! Also one of my wish list items this year was a new cute Dodgers shirt to get for Spring training and that is exactly what he got me! I know there are many people out there that hate Valentine's Day, but I am one of those who LOVE it! Not to mention I have a wonderful Valentine who dressed so amazing for our night out. I really do love his thrift store blazer he wore on our date!
