Finally got my birthday present

I guess due to the tsunami in Japan production has been down on a lot of products including Nikon products. For my birthday this year I wanted a 35mm 1.8/f lens which was $192.00. I have been waiting and waiting for it!  Finally today it came and it is AMAZING! I have tomorrow off and all I want to do all day is take pictures! It is so fun getting good equipment!

Here is one of my first pictures with the new lens! I love the softness on the edges and the sharpness of the eye!
