My wedding ring

Last Sunday night we were at Kim Fletcher's home celebrating birthdays with some good family friends of ours. As I was sitting on the ground I noticed that my center diamond on my wedding ring was missing. I think in the moment I totally freaked out! I yelled "Derek" and then told him my center diamond was gone. This is something that I think I have feared the whole 5 years I have had it. That day we had been to church, home and the Fletchers so it could not have gone to far, but still far enough to be a hassle to go to all those places and try to find it. I asked Derek if we should go try to find it and his response was if it shows up great...if it doesn't great.... I have looked at the Fletchers and at home then tomorrow I will check at church while I am at mutual.

Derek paid for this diamond by giving plasma while attending BYU. It meant a lot to me and I always called it my blood diamond. It is for now gone and I told Derek that I guess it is time for my 5 yr upgrade. The only difference this time...I don't want a real diamond. I told Derek to get me a man made diamond so if people ask if it is real I can say it is a diamond =)

I think it's amazing he did that to pay for it. But I too want a man made one so I can get a bigger one :)
